    = to cancel or to remove (a law or a rule) 废除、撤回（废止或废除法则或划定）

    e.g. The Chancellor of the Exchequer refused to ask parliament to abolish the tax on alcohol. 财政年夜臣拒尽让议会废除对烈性酒的纳税。

    7. abscond

    = to go away without permission or not to return to the court after being released on bail or to escape from prison.

    潜逃、失落（擅自逃走或保释后不回到法庭或逃狱逃走）

    e.g. He was charged with absconding from lawful custody. 他被控告从合法监护人那边逃走。
