Nancy：The air conditioner isn't working.
Victor：空调不义务了。
Nancy：This is something you can tell the reception desk at the hotel, or your landlord if it's your apartment
Victor：当你的空调欠好用的时候，这句话可以对宾馆前台说，也可以跟你的房主说。
Nancy：Remember, that in western countries, air conditioner is only for cool air, not for hot air, that's called a heater. If you say,“my room is too cold, turn on the air conditioner,” people will have no idea what you're talking about.
Victor：可是呢，在东方国家，air conditioner只是用来制冷的，如果用来取热的，他们用另外一个词叫heater.所以如果你和他们说我的air conditioner没有热风，他们会以为很特别。
