My hat's off to him.：依照通俗的东方礼仪，进进室内或遇见父老，应脱帽。Off本意指帽子「分开」头顶，意思是「脱帽」以默示恭敬。hat指通俗有帽檐的帽子；像无帽檐的棒球「帽」，称为（baseball） cap.与戴 hat时的礼仪相通。小孩子碰到父老没有施礼时，固然没有戴着 cap，怙恃也可以用 "Where is your cap？"的话来提醒小孩记得施礼。

two occasions：两个场所；两次。

subbing：替代。sub是substitute的缩写字，此处当做「动词」用，背面的介系词用for.因为sub是单音节字，中心的u发短元音，因此其现在分词型式必需频频字尾的字母今后再加上-ing.
head coaching：总教练首席教练的批示。
debut：首次（的出场角逐、扮演、展览…）。
